Good idea in theory, but a little matrony

I got the violet color in PP, since I knew EF items tend to run large. (I'm short-ish at 5'4", but I don't have a short torso; 120# and usually size 4/S.) The sweater fit... fine, and the color was beautiful, but together with the shape and the thinness of the material, I felt like it somehow aged me (I'm in my mid-40s). Not the effect I was looking for. It makes me look older and preggo at the same time. So in short, not so much. Maybe if you are thinner it might work better. Also the pockets came stitched together, but if I undo the stitching, seemed like they would stretch out, considering how flimsy the material was..
