I am 5'6 and weigh 119 #'s. Size 4 fits me perfectly. The material is somewhat stretchy and is very comfortable and flattering. It's very long so it needed to be shortened and hemmed.

Comfortable
Pretty but no surprise, looks a bit matronly on me. Fits true to size. Comfortable

Great gown
This gown is a dream to wear. It has just the right amount of lace, perfect for the style I wanted and can wear well. Very comfortable.
Stunning dress
I wanted a sage colored dress for my son's wedding and was a little hesitant to buy this because it looks more mint in the online pictures. The shipping was quick, and the dress was beautifully and carefully packaged. The dress is sage, although it is a light shade of sage. The fabric of the dress feels substantial and high quality. It has a little stretch to it too. The ruching is beautiful and flattering. I usually wear a size 10, that is what I ordered, and it fit perfectly. When I was buying the dress, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the cape. Would it make the dress look styled for an older woman? Once I saw it in person, I didn't feel that way at all. The appliques on the cape are gorgeous. It would be nice if the cape was removable with snaps at the shoulders instead of being seen to the dress shoulders. That would be easy to fix if you take the dress to a seamstress. I wouldn't have needed to because the dress was the perfect length for me wearing 2-2.5 inch heels (5'7"). Sadly I ended up returning the dress for one reason. I had bought 2 dresses to choose from. I would have preferred to keep this one as it was higher quality and overall prettier; the other is a "bridesmaid" dress and very simple. When I was searching the Bloomingdale's website for dresses, I added a filter to search only for a-line dresses. I thought it odd how this dress looked a bit flared at the bottom in the picture, but I really didn't think much of it. I had to try it on twice before I realized it is a mermaid cut, not an a-line. I still think the dress would be comfortable to dance in due to the stretch of the fabric. But, in the end, I decided that the plain, a-line dress was more flattering on my body than the mermaid. Maybe you can't combine ruching with an a-line style, but I hadn't thought about that looking at the dress online. I wish the filter worked better to help with the dress search.
