Feels yummy but VERY itchy

Ellen Tracy has been my go to for years on Pjs. The material is super soft and size is great maybe a little over sized which I am ok with in PJs BUT the stitching has been done with stretchy plastic thread and all the seams are so scratchy that I can’t wear them. I washed them before wearing hoping that would soften the thread but nope still as itchy scratchy as before. VERY disappointed especially at this price point.
