Gorgeous, Strong Bookcase!
I bought two of these bookcases and, wow, what an excellent purchase! These tall, wide bookcases are gorgeous in their rustic charm and are so sturdy. The deep, wide shelves hold my heavy (hardcover) books and knickknacks easily. Purchasing these bookcases was a great decision and, although this might sound nuts, I smile each time I enter my living room and see them.

The wood is exquisite. The look, quality and feel of all of the pieces together looks amazing in my home.
Spacious and attractive
This wide and spacious stained pine bookshelf replaces a much smaller non-stained pine bookshelf. In fact it looks nicer than a more expensive alder bookshelf I have. It does not like like pine but a more expensive, higher grade wood, and the slightly stressed / antiqued look is perfect. The only flaws were a small chip in the back and a screw on the inside, top shelf that was screwed in at an angle and was not flush or screwed in all the way, with no way to repair it without damaging the wood. it looks like a botched attempt to repair the corner. It is not easy to see but should not have shipped like this. Also, the deliver folks did not install the shelves and told me to put them where I wanted to; I had no idea that the shelves were designed to be screwed in. Still, all in all, a good buy and I am very satisfied. My books have a good home.
