Needs a pillowtop

decent chair, not built to last

Decent chair - arm rests hit desk which is annoying. Raiser broker after 4 months and Macy's decided to not cover under warranty. Also had to buy a raiser seat pad as the chair wouldn't elevate high enough for me. Yes, a nice and solid looking chair, but if you get one that breaks, you are out of luck.

The chair is solid, classic, and wood is very nice

Ordered the chair with a desk for a work office. The chair is very solid, comfortable to sit in, if you prefer to sit straight, which is why is was selected. The look is classic, and the wood is very nice
