Doesn’t seem to get super
Doesn’t seem to get super tight when placed in vehicles— especially when using the anchors. Really bummed because I was really looking forward to this car seat after all the reviews I looked into.

Car seat
We really had a smooth time installing this car seat in our car. We’ve used plenty over the years and this one has such a quick and easy install. We find the slim design to work really well for our family seeing as we have multiple children and need multiple car seats. We also really like the sleek look of this seat. It matches our car well. Our toddler says it’s very comfortable and he seems to have ample room in it despite being a slim fit. It does not take away from it being spacious for the child. We also really love the double cup hold feature. We received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and have a great piece of mind knowing our child is in a comfortable and safe car seat.

Great Value
4 out of 5 stars only because 5 to me is the total package. While this seat is certainly everything you need and for most folks want, it is not the most premium materials being used. That being said, the materials are still great quality, and they provide ample cushioning throughout (pictures). Setup is very simple, and the slim fit design is especially convenient as we put the seat in a 4Runner with narrow bench space- it fits much better than other seats we’ve used in the past, and certainly fits better than the seat we use for our other child, that seat is a different brand and model. The four stages are convenient and a great value add, and our child has been very comfortable on a few trips well-over an hour- probably the most important review of all. We would recommend this seat to a friend, but might suggest another model by this brand if we were seeking more premium materials. Wonderful convertible seat!
I'm always extra cautious when it comes to car seats because I take the most precautions when it comes to my kids' safety. I was very excited to be given this car seat to test! First of all, this seat is roomy. My youngest got right in and sat down, and she had plenty of room to grow. We have a booster seat that sits in the same row, and there was still room for another passenger to sit between them, so the slim design really works for us. We are still rear facing, so a seat that accommodates that is important to me. It was super simple to adjust the recline settings for the seat, too. A simple lever helps you recline, so finding the best and safest fit is a breeze. My husband, who never reads any manual, was able to install this car seat in just a few minutes. I double checked everything by the book, and it all checked out. The directions were clear and concise as well, so they are very easy to follow. I love that it is an all-in-one seat too, so it has the high-back booster and can convert to a backless booster too. It would work from newborn to big kid, so that's super convenient! It was very easy to strap kiddo in as well. The only thing my husband and I weren't huge fans of was the chest clip. It didn't feel quite as secure as other brands we've tried because it has a button on both sides that feels like it can slip out easier than I'd like. It still held her in place very well though, so it still gets all the stars from us. All in all, I'd highly recommend this seat to anyone who was looking for a safe, easy-to-use, convenient convertible car seat! Fits Three Across in Sedan!
I am a big fan of this new car seat. We have been looking for a new car seat that would fit three across in our 2013 Toyota Camry, and this one made it possible (even with two cupholders!!!)! It was a snug fit and was a bit difficult to buckle the seatbelt with three across, but I got it done. Even the backless booster seat we formerly had in the spot of this car seat didn't fit this well. It's also worth mentioning that this seat fits well in our car in general. There weren't any big gaps against the seat to fix as I went to install it. We are using this car seat in the forward facing harness mode for our four year old. She finds it comfortable and is excited to sit in this seat, so that's a big win. I find the chest clip a little but tricky to unbuckle and the plastic it is made out of seems a little bit flimsy, but the seat seems to fit her well overall. I think this car seat is heavier duty and sturdier than some we have had in the past, so that is also a plus. I also love the fact that this car seat has a no rethread harness, as I don't want to be unbuckling and reinstalling it every time I need to move the shoulder straps up. For me, this is an essential feature for a car seat to have. This seat advertised that it can be used with just the seat belt and as a backless booster. For us, using it three across will likely make it impossible for us to buckle and unbuckle our daughter every single time she gets in and out because it's too hard to reach down in to buckle the belt. With that being said, my eight and six year old children still use car seats with a five point harness, so I think we will be able to use this one that way for many years to come, too. Overall, this is a great slim carseat and is doing a good job of meeting our needs. I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel, but all opinions are my own.

Great value, good quality - slim car seat
This is a great looking car seat, very sleek with clean lines and neutral colors. The materials are all high quality, but not elite quality. I love the lower anchors for installing the seat, it made it easy to get it installed and secure in our car to where I felt confident it was safe for our child. Tightening and loosening the seat belt/harness was smooth and simple. Smooth and simple are very important to me when wrangling my kids into their seats. The slim fit design is excellent, more space on either side without sacrificing much, if anything at all in terms of comfort. The levelling system might be my only complaint. When moving to different recline settings, you are required to somewhat eyeball lines on the side to see if they’re parallel with the ground. That seemed a bit arbitrary so I ended up using my own level to double check things. This wasn’t a deal breaker, because we won’t move the car seat to different vehicles ever. If I had to move it to a different car periodically, it would be nice to have a bubble level on it somewhere. Adjusting to different heights and settings for different size and ages of children is very easy. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this car seat for me to test and review. I am confident my kids will get many years and miles of use out of this car seat.

Slim carseat that fits securely for a good value
We have tested this car seat for our 2 year old in rear-facing mode, thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This car seat is definitely slim and I would recommend it to a friend that needed to maximise the car space. It is also a great value considering it provides years of use in multiple modes. However, you have to give up a little bit of comfort. be okay with less ideal fabric, and will need to turn your child forward-facing a little sooner than with other seats. SIZE: I measured it at about 16” wide including cupholders, while our other car seat measures about 18’ wide without including the cup holders. We have it installed behind the passenger seat of my car (an Audi A4, for reference) and thanks to it, we now have more open space in the center seat: two passengers are now more comfortable riding in the back with my daughter in her seat. We only have one child, so we couldn’t test multiple car seats installed next to each other, but the fact that it allows us to use the car more efficiently is a win. The car seat is also taking less space front-to-back, which allows the front passenger to move the seat back more or recline it more than it was possible with our previous seat - this is great! INSTALL: My daughter is 2 years old and about 32 pounds, so the car seat is installed rear-facing. The car seat was easy to move around as it's not super heavy (I weighted it at about 23.5 pounds). We installed the car seat with the LATCH system, which was very easy to do. I was able to achieve a tight and secure install with minimal effort. Unlike many other car seats at this price point and weight, this one feels very tight once installed and isn’t moving around. The non-rethread straps are easy to use. I’m not crazy about the fact that the recline position adjusting lever is unreachable when the seat is installed: if you need to adjust this, you have to uninstall the seat and start over. There’s no bubble to tell you if your install is in the right position: you need to align the correct line (based on the weight of your child) to the ground, which is a little tricky. COMFORT AND POSITION: my daughter is comfortable and happy with this seat, however in my opinion, the back is a little too upright and the headrest is a bit narrow; there are multiple reclines, but you have to pick the one that makes the correct control-line parallel to the ground, which makes the seat back pretty straight up and I can’t imagine how she would sleep in this seat; she only naps in the car if we drive far away for hours, which we haven’t done in a while, so I couldn’t test this. For these reasons, my plan is to have this car seat as a backup for now, or for when we need more space in the car, and bring it back in regular use when we need the booster modes. REAR-FACING: it’s been proven that keeping your child rear-facing as long as possible is the safest mode. Unfortunately this car seat has you turn the child forward-facing earlier than some other seats (at 40 pounds) so you’ll need to take that in consideration during your selection, based on your child size for their age. FABRIC: I don’t think the fabric is fire-retardant free and it definitely has a little smell out of the box, but the smell dissipates quickly. CONCLUSION: definitely a good value with all the modes offered and great for maximising space in your car!
