Fun and amusing

Short vignettes from history focusing mostly on women and their contributions to first, science, history, love, etc. Humorous and interesting. I enjoyed this. I often laughed out loud while reading about these women and men. I did know about Anne Bonney and Mary Read but had not heard of most the people in these vignettes. This is a fun book that opened my mind to new information. Perfect for a trivia buff and anyone wanting to learn something new and entertaining.

Love the title and minimalist look of the book

I preordered this book as soon as I could. The wait for it was definitely worth it. Love how the author is teaching you history lessons and linking them to modern day problems at the same time. The illustrations bring a certain pre-visual to every story that gives a clue as to what the story may be about or where it is leading to. A very entertaining and educational look at historical facts that you've most likely never heard. Thanks to The Captain for this great book.

Only way I like to learn history!

The Captain never disappoints & this book is no different! His perspective and humor on things makes history/life lessons enjoyable for me. We can all benefit from learning via others. Definitely worth the read!

looking for unique history lesson, here you go. This history class will not be boring. We have a messed up, funny, and over all f ed up past. However life lessons can be learned from this. From people thinking your the devils son because you are too good at what you do, to Katheryn The Great royal girl squad. You can find relationship advice, self improvement, motivation, , from historical figures who at one point was going through the same thing you are, however you are probably not going to burn the house down with 20 people trying to convince you to marry a royal from another country. Amazing read, that holds your attention, with Fing History, a must have
