Beautiful but Torturous

These loafers are gorgeous! I've purchased them in 3 different colors & 2 different sizes with the intention of wearing them without socks with cigarette-style pants and jeans. While beautiful, they are also absolutely painful! I've torn up my feet (rubbed skin off to the point of massive bleeding) over weeks trying to break them in. I've tried insoles, mole skin, and all sorts of bandaids to prevent blistering and bleeding without success. When that didn't work, I repurchased all shoe colors in a half size larger. It only made it slightly better in preventing damage to my feet, but eventually produced the same painful results. These run at least half a size small and are cut a bit narrow...and if you plan to wear with socks, at least a full size. Unless you have a very high tolerance for pain, I don't recommend buying them.
