Gorgeous, but size way up

I'm 5'10" and usually a L/12 in Free People. It's pretty much all I wear. When I saw this dress and the top it was styled with I looked on every site for reviews. I mainly saw that it was reviewed as being short. Being 5'10" I normally expect things to be short, but it wasn't muuuch different than a lot of other FP dresses. But my god it runs small. The model in any photo across any site you might come across must have sized up at least two sizes. If you order your "true size" in FP sizes, it will probably be more of a fitted, bodycon-ish dress. Which is fine, just not how I wanted it styled. I returned it and I was kinda heartbroken about it. BUT if that doesn't bother you, the faux leather was incredibly soft and it probably would have been a comfortable dress to wear all day.

Good

I bought size 12 and I wear size Medium in dresses and this one was too tight. Chart size is not correct. This is closer to a size 8 or smaller, if u have a bust size of 38-39, it will not fit. However if it was one size larger, I like the quality. It looks like a leather jumper.
