A new watch with a broken strap

This has been my worst internet purchase ever. Never expected this out of Macys though. Purchased this watch at a discounted price and never there was a mention that this was a refurbished/damaged/used item. Waited eagerly until I received this yesterday. The watch strap was broke, and whoever packed it was careful enough to include the bend strap pin alongside in the package. The canister that came with it had tapes all around, the kind you would see if its an open and display item in the store. Very very unhappy about this purchase. Trying to return it, none of the stores near me are open. Have to mail it back and get a refund. The rating is for Macy's to have sent me this expensive watch at this condition.
