too slippery

Great for Tall People

I bought this Mat recently for a yoga class I've been taking. As a 6 foot tall woman, it's difficult to find a mat that is long enough for me (it's a bit awkward to have my head hanging off the end of a yoga mat during shavasana). The color of the mandala is a bit brighter than you would expect from the online picture, but it's a very pleasing color. This mat is long enough, wide enough, and has the perfect amount of thickness to make sure that I have the perfect amount of comfort during all yoga poses!

Great for bigger guy.

I purchased this mat after using my wife's for a few weeks. The larger size and thicker padding are great for me since I'm 6' 1", 175lbs. I would definitely recommend this mat.

Premium LONG Marrakesh Yoga Mat (Gaiam)

I recently purchased this mat and couldn't be happier. At 6'4 I worried it wouldn't be long enough for me, but it is perfect! I had also feared the "new mat smell" that I had read about but it was a non-issue. Thanks for such a great, well made product!

Perfect if you're tall at ALL

After having this mat for about 2 weeks I can say I'm relieved to have this mat. I'm just over 5'9" and the regular mat length was too short. In fact I'm so happy with the length, I wish Gaiam would update their 3-point questionnaire on how to choose a mat so more people buy a longer mat.
