Great watch, when it works

I don't know if its the watch or the Garmin connect app on my phone, but as of lately it drops connection constantly. A real PAIN in the butt. You have to go to Bluetooth on your phone, "forget" the device; re-add the same device; Pair it; then go thru complete set-up....over and over and over again

Amazed and Now Disappointed!

I am on my 3rd Garmin (Garmin Swim, Garmin 3HR, Fenix 6X Sapphire) The first two are still going. The 6X has lost the temperature reading (18 months), then the backlight has stopped working (Flickered one day and then never came back) (36 months), Now Bluetooth and screen is getting darker to read, (48 months). Thought I would get a better run than this. The abilities of the watch are amazing but reliability has some questions.

I wear this watch everyday and through it all it has continually met each challenge. Whether it's in tree or on the trail the GPS is accurate and the overall ruggedness keeps it going. The sapphire screen is a must and has yet to scratch after years of wear. The straps and the charger will eventually break but the watch hangs tough

Versatile Watch!

I use my garmin for a lot of reasons among gthem being fitness, hiking, and hunting. I love the feature that it connects to my garmin alpha 200i dog collar system and points me in the direction and tells me the distance. Such a great item for an active uplander!

After 2 years of use does not work

It does not connect to garmin connect, at least 3 times a week i have to reset to original functions because it does not connect to the app, the wifi does not work, i ca not use garmin express because it does not recognize it and finally i can not update the watch

display white-out at top and bottom buttons

4 years into the use, display whites out at 2 points at the top and bottom buttons. HR strap loses connection, into the 5th strap now, latest a tri strap, awaiting replacement. Highly unreliable watches and straps. I had a fenix 3 before with same issues regarding strap connection. The pulse measurements are highly unreliable as well showing irate HR levels for my age as 190 or so for a60 year old male. I may be trained but not so.

Difficulty charging

It’s been over a year since having this Fenix 6X sapphire. Went for the upgrade after my Fenix 5 charging port just stopped connecting with the charger. Here I am again with the Fenix 6X hoping for an improvement considering the issue was raised countless of times on the Fenix 5. Please fix this dam issue. Overall the watch is amazing. Just the battery charging issue. No matter how good the watch is, this terribly bad part of the watch makes all the good useless.
