We’ve used this appliance only twice, but it seems to make good coffee. The carafe is difficult to pull in and out of its position. It’s also odd that the clock display does not stay on. Once the brew and warm period expires, the display turns off.

I love it! It's so sturdy and attractive. Plus it makes great coffee...

I like it keeps the coffee nice and hot. And we do not have to use coffee filters.

I’ve only just recently set this coffee maker up. The process was very straightforward and easy. I’m happy so far. It brews quickly and is easy to clean. I also like the sleek look of it. I will update if I run into any hiccups.

I hate this coffee maker. Where to start? The lid for the carafe, for some reason, must be unscrewed with two hands when you want to open it. Never mind that virtually all other carafes can be opened easily with your thumb. GE needed to innovate where no innovation was needed. The carafe has a sort of lip inside that makes it impossible to get every last bit of coffee out. No matter what, you always have a ring of coffee left at the bottom of the carafe (unless you want to unscrew the top with two hands, which you'll need to do anyway if you want to rinse it) The place where the filter goes is super pitched and this often results in it making a mess and coffee grounds getting all over the place. The 6 cup line on the carafe is very mismatched with the 6 cup line in the machine. The coffee is super weak unless you choose Bold, which takes forever. It's needlessly tall. It drips too easily without the carafe in place.
