Perfect ice & sleek design

We received this life maker as a gift after our previous one (non-GE) stopped working. This ice maker exceeds our expectations! The ice itself is great. Set-up/installation was incredibly easy. The amount of ice it produces is satisfactory for our 3 person home. We love its sleek design and light feature as well as the WiFi capability. No complaints!

Great ice maker

The GE Opal 2.0 has a nice streamlined modern appearance. The set up was easy and the instruction manual was clear and concise. Of course, the ice is FANTASTIC! We are very pleased with the GE Opal 2.0 countertop ice maker.

Good Appliance easy to learn essential maintenance

Great at making ice but if you install the GE water filter it does not like to make ice. It acts like it is plugged up regardless or what you do. I have purchased two filters from different places and followed the instructions meticulously. Each works for about a day then the ice maker says it needs water. It is easy to install. Be careful about noting which line goes into the external tank. The ice is fantastic both size and texture. The capacity is sufficient. It occasionally squeals but that usually lets you know it is about time for a cleaning.

Terrible!

I got my icemaker and it doesnt even work. It has flooded my whole kitchen and I have been notified by GE that they will not be replacing my new appliance. Bad choice! I have photos and vidoes
