Don't buy, waste of money.

Terrible set, terrible design, tongs won't even close, going to throw away and buy a different brand.

Inaccurate and underwhelming

Description says silicone, but feels like nylon. Lever to lock or unlock tongs makes them practically unusable. Returning.

Tongs

Very happy with the other GIR utensils but the tongs are not the best. They are difficult to handle. They slip out of your hand. They need some rubber/silicon on the sides for a better grip.

Not good for glass bottles for baby

These tongs are awful with glass, which I’m using often with bottle cleaning for a newborn. The bottles slip out every time and now my wife is annoyed (help me). Otherwise, quality build, feels nice in hand. Just wish there was a bit more of a tackiness for super smooth surfaces like glass.

Who are these tongues mde for

The tongs were an enormous disappointment. They are much too big. I don't know who the intended user is supposed to be or what that person is using the tongs for. The tongs are muh too larger to be of any use. for anyone less than 6'6" or is not uing them to turn over a 15 lb steak at least. I don't see how I can incorporate them into every day use given their size.

Disappointing

The hinge allows the tongs slide a bit and impairs the grip. I find I drop things I had no trouble holding with other tongs.
