Delectable sampler

Memory Booster

According to the recipient, these are excellent. The truffles are sent to a Lewy-Body dementia patient who has always loved dark chocolate truffles. These are to help him remember, hopefully. I have no idea if he remembers them from the past but gladly eats them.

Not quite the Godiva I remember

I'm a longtime fan of Godiva and have always associated the brand with quality, so I was a bit disappointed with this purchase. The chocolates tasted fine overall, but they didn’t seem as fresh as what I’ve come to expect from Godiva. Some had a slightly "old" taste, and the assortment felt uneven—lots of repeats, and a few varieties I usually enjoy were completely missing. It honestly felt like this box might’ve been assembled from leftovers. I still appreciate the brand, but this batch just didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to love.
