Product details
Web ID: 9782051not good quality
I bought this pan after reading the reviews, thinking that the consumers were not using it correctly… I used it and started it off on low to medium heat and the thing burnt. It is very thin it is lightweight. There is zero quality and even getting it on sale from $140 it is not worth it at all. I am returning it, after one attempt of using it it burnt on low to med heat Macys should not sell this brand
Response from GoldenRabbit
We are sorry to hear of your difficulty with this saute pan. Unlike most pans, the enamelware heats up almost instantly, and will reach cooking heat within seconds. We always recommend starting at a lower heat than normal and add heat as needed.
Thin and cheaply made
It's super thin and it burn fast. Very pretty but I need it to be functional for the price.
Response from GoldenRabbit
Enamelware is thinner than most traditional pans. The pan will heat up almost instantly and can burn food quickly if too much heat is applied. We recommend starting with a lower heat and gradually add more heat as needed.
Thin and cheap pan not worth the money
The pan is very thin and flimsy. It also as a bow in the middle so when you put your cooking oil in, the oil runs off to the outer parts of the pan. The biggest issue is the heat localization that occurs in the middle of the pan. It gets very hot in the middle and it burns food in the middle and not on the edges. Cook bacon in it and you'll see what I mean.
Response from GoldenRabbit
Cooking with traditional enamelware is very different than other cookware. It is important to start at a low temperature and add heat as needed. The pan will heat up immediately and only where the flame or heat is applied to the pan. Cooking at too high a heat will quickly burn food.
