GregoryWomen's Deva 70 Backpack from Eastern Mountain Sports

This pack is incredibly comfortable and great for backpacking. I wish it were a little lighter, but I understand that the weight comes from making it so comfortable.

I love the color and the fit of the bag. I already packed it and walked around the house! Everything fits with some room to spare. I’m excited to take it out and put it to the test!

Amazing pack!

I've had my deva pack for a decade now and it still looks brand new. Not a single stitch out of place. I always used a cheap rain cover, I've gone through 3 of those. But this pack has seen 13 countries, gotten soaked by rain, seawater, sand, dirt, been strapped to the back of motorcycles and stored under buses and boats, and is still kicking. It provides excellent hip support, the best of any pack I've tried. My husband eventually got a Gregory for the same reason. I have been amazed by the quality of workmanship and comfortable wear.

I’ve had this for over 2 years and I love it. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time/ roomy/lots of pockets. She has survived tumbles and all kind of wild weather. We Stan.

Great features for the weight and price

I am an older female that values comfort over ultralite. My Deva 70 is moderate on weight but is stable and comfortable. My pack weight with food and water is usually around 32 pounds and this pack carries that easily and hugs my body. I have tried ultralight packs and they are too unstable and tug on my shoulders. This pack has easy to access storage pockets. Gregory pretty much thought of everything, including a rain cover.

Great backpack!

So nice for someone with such a small torso. I got the extra small for torso and it’s pretty magical to have a backpack that actually fits me!! So excited to try this out thus year.

Great features and fit!

Got this pack for a backpacking trip in the Adirondacks. It held up really well! I loved having the little daypack for day hikes, and the extra water bottle pouch that was stashed away was also really great. The fit was about as comfortable as I could have hoped any frame pack could be, too! Overall Im really happy with my purchase

Deva Packs Rock

Just received--have only used on short hikes and long walks so far, but I know the Deva 70 will be as perfect a pack for me as my Deva 60 (which I've had for over 10 years and is still in awesome shape). This older model Deva 70 is much better than the new (which tries to be an Osprey--boo! hiss!), with features like zippered outside pockets rather than an elastic pouch. The pack runs short--I am 5'7" and was measured by a dealer as a SM, but I had to send that back (ouch! Shipping fees!) for a MD, which is ideal, with a size SM hip belt. Thanks for the free exchange on the hip belt, Gregory. I *love* the pink trim, raincover, and removable day pack. Wish the exterior blue were a little lighter/brighter. Can't wait to take this on an expedition in Argentina!
