Great for practice

My son is not really an outdoor type of kid but this allowed him to use his imagination and come up with a pulley system that he could build things with. I was able to help him and together we figured it out.

Awesome hands on learning!

My younger children really enjoyed learning how how to use this block and tackle! It’s pretty awesome for them to be able to pick up heavier items than they could lift by hand, and hoist it up into they're tree house. It comes with a nice heavy duty rope, two carabiners, and two pulleys. It claims to have a load capacity of 66 lbs and I believe it could handle more than that! Everything is of good quality and works very well. It’s awesome to be able to teach them about physics and mechanical advantage at a young age. My kids and I genuinely enjoy using this block and tackle.

Kids loving it

The kiddos have been throughly enjoying this set. They are learning about physics without even really understanding it! After a recent vacation, they saw a much older version of this at one of the historical sites we visited. They were beyond excited to have a set of their own! They are currently testing to see how much weight they can lift with this set.

Great for learning

This product is a great hands on learning activity for children. It’s great for kids to use their imagination and physical activity outdoors. Plenty of possibilities when using this kit. My kids enjoy using it to pull up buckets of toys.

Very cool!

I absolutely love this hoister by Terra kids. we used it for our treehouse so my kids can easily lift their toys up and down without having to carry them up the ladder. Such a great invention and one that definitely comes in handy if you have a treehouse like us!!

Good, simple set for kids.

This is a good set for kids to use, learn and play with. Our HABA Kids Block and Tackle set is basically a rope, pulleys and carabiners. It's actually been a very educational and fun set for our 8 year old to play with and use for her tree house. While you can probably go out and buy the individual components yourself at a hardware store, this set is nice in that it comes together, sized appropriately as a set for kids and comes in a nice box/packaging, making it good for giving as a gift. Overall, my wife, my daughter and I were all pleased with this and would recommend it to others. Yes, this is recommended for kids over a reasonably wide age range.
