not that great

it broke within a year. although they sent me a replacement part at no charge, the same thing happened within a few months. the part inside that makes it go up and down kept breaking causing it to loudly slam shut instead of gently

Awesome!!!

I purchased one and liked it so much I purchased another for Recyclables. Normally, I would NEVER spend this much on a trash can. My reasoning, this is an item I use multiple times daily. It closes nice and smooth and doesn't bang up my wall. I purchased some awesome decals, trash and recycle that look like etched stainless..I researched numerous trash bins and having a removable inner bin is a must have.
