I spent a lot of time looking for a large pasta bowl and I chose two of these during a great sale. Great for a big portion of spaghetti and meatballs. Also great for arranging more than one thing on it such as pasta, steamed veggies and a small salad. Awesome serving dish for cookies. We microwaved the bowl for 1 minute before serving the pasta up ad the bowl was very warm. They came seriously packaged to prevent any damage.--big shipping box and lots of bubble wrap.

I was fully intending to use this as a functional bowl, but it's so attractive, that I'm actually going to use it as a decorative piece on our mantle.

I feel like it would go well with most decor. For this size, I got small, but I feel it is pretty big for a small and would easily serve a family of 4. I know it says pasta bowl but I use mine as a decorative fruit bowl for the center of my table! It is ceramic so it can break. I definitely recommend.
