I was very clear, asking to the lady, who sold me this carry-on, that I was leaving tomorrow, Monday to my Country, so she charge me for one day delivery, which was not true. Now I won’t be able to use my carry-on until I come back, someday to Miami..

My Hartmann carry on was perfect for my trip to Paris and Nice. It had the right amount of space for all of my clothes on a 2 week trip. No checked bag needed so i sailed through customs without a hitch.

Quality does not compare to Hartman products. Handle was very difficult going up and down. I took it on one flight and was embarrassed when the handle wouldn’t go down and I had to get it in the overhead compartment.

It is tiny, measurements are wrong. I think they took outside measurements, including outer portions of the wheels. Ribs of the suitcase frame significantly protrude into the luggage rendering that side almost entirely unusable for larger clothing items that will not lay flat. Hard shell feels somewhat flimsy, and I do not see how it can survive a check-in experience intact. Cell phone connection is a great idea but there is nothing to hang or attach your cell phone to, so it just hangs in the wind? The handle does not retract smoothly at all, constantly snags coming out. Overall, it looks beautiful but not functional at all. Works like an overnight bag on wheels.

hinges on side broke after 2 years
very disappointed. The hinges after two year broke.

Hartman has been a name associated with the top quality luggage. However, the piece that I purchased does not live up to their reputation. Specifically the handle is poorly constructed and not going to withstand frequent use.

It's a nice carry on, BUT it's very small - very! I would gamble to say the measurements they provided on their site are incorrect. I didn't even consider keeping it as soon as I opened the box - I returned the piece and purchased an Away carry on.

I want my money back
I already wrote that I feel scammed, because I paid for immediate shipping of the item I bought from Hartman, and the seller guaranteed it, saying it would arrive the next day. Even though I repeatedly asked if it would arrive on a Sunday, she confirmed it would, which is why I paid the highest price for express shipping. The seller knew I was leaving for Santo Domingo on Monday, but the suitcase arrived on Tuesday, which is why I don't have it and I'm not even sure if it's still where they left it. I have to wait until I get back from my trip to find out, since no one was home at the time.
