This plastic on this suite case cracked at the grab handle on the first flight. Hartmann replaced it and the same thing happened again in the same exact place. As it was airline travel, in both instances the suite case was packed with less than 50 lbs. I believe this case is just too large for the thickness of the plastic and the handle attachments are not reinforced well enough. I recommend spending a bit more and purchasing the Century Deluxe model.

Not Burgundy!!
We just received this luggage yesterday.....it is not burgundy! It looks more purple. It is a pretty color but if you are wanting true burgundy this is not it!

Not Worth the Expense
I've had Hartmann luggage for many years and this piece is the worst piece of luggage I've ever owned. The Hartmann tag fell off within the first month and the second month the zipper broke. I'm going to try another brand from here forward as clearly Hartmann has changed their manufacturing on these.

Large well made suitcase
We were looking for a really big suitcase to replace one that broke. This suitcase definitely fit the bill. It is a nice color that will standout at baggage claim. It appears well made although we haven't used it yet.

Disappointed.
Zipper broke on first use. Was traveling abroad and had to tape suitcase closed I was surprised as the quality of Hartman products purchased in the past was always good. Recommend the company look into another source for their suitcase zippers.

This bag is huge and has no internal storage, no zipped compartments - everything just drops to the bottom when you're pushing it forward.
