Great for beginners!

I purchased on an absolute whim (it was very pretty on the shelf!). I bought this as someone who has absolutely ZERO astrology knowledge besides her own zodiac sign. My hopes were that the guidebook would explain Western astrology in an easy-to-digest manner and that the oracle cards would help in meditation and journaling at the very least. This card deck has delivered on all fronts! I admit I skimmed through the natal chart and other introductory matters on Astrology, but it's not necessary to read them to use the cards. For people who use Tarot or other oracle cards, I think these can be a great combination as "qualifiers" or "clarifiers" to readings. Every time I use them, I feel like I get very clear guidance from the guidebook: Lily Ashwell gives a great understanding of what each astrological term means and its applications. I looked for other works by this author, but it appears this is her first. I would buy more from this creator, be it a book of artwork or an oracle deck.
