Beautiful dress, runs small

I was in love with this dress for my daughter's Christmas dress so I ordered early. The quality and feel of the material is very nice and feels well made. The problem came when trying it on. The arm opening are just too small for my daughter's chubby little arms and the length came down to her ankles. I was just barely able to button it but it would have never worked 2 months from now. For reference my daughter is 26 lbs. We ordered 2T. She is 18 months but 90% for height and 70% for weight. I'd say if you have a tall thin toddler this would be perfect. It is a beautiful dress but it's going back.
