If you prefer some thin fabric like me, try this! I do see some reviews saying the newer version is too thin, nor worthy of the money. I actually like it as I’m the kind of person who gets hot after the shower and needs some breathable fabric for the bath robe. It’s comfortable, breathable, and not too long. I’m petite, short arms and legs, but the sleeves are foldable as they are not too heavy weight or too thick, and the hem is not too long which makes me look shorter. My only complaint is that the belt height is a bit low, but I can easily fix that by wrapping it outside the loops, working perfectly fine.

Not worth the money
A cheap imitation of the older version. A light cloth wrapper with a thin terrycloth lining. Sorry I bought it online. Macys should be ashamed.
Extremely Disappointed
If I could give zero stars, that is what this robe deserves. I definitely expected more from Macy’s “Hotel Collection” when I purchased this. When it arrived, I noticed right away the fabric and workmanship on this robe was so questionable-it arrived wrinkled and lots of cotton fuzz casting off off everywhere. Still, I thought maybe a wash would freshen it up. BAD IDEA. I washed it on cold as directed, tumbled dry low as directed- my lint catcher had to be emptied twice. The robes ( I had purchased two) were now officially child-sized. I will now question purchasing clothing items online from Macy’s unfortunately.

I ordered this robe as a gift. I went into my local Macy's first to purchase the robe (wanted to make sure it was the material I wanted). At my local Macy's, they had size S/M robes folded nice and in packaging, but the L/XL were all open and hanging like someone had tried them on. Since this was a gift I wanted it to be nice and folded, so I decided to just order online. When my package arrived (quick shipping), the robe was folded and put into a clear plastic bag with a receipt just stuck in, but not in its original packaging (see pictures). I'm so disappointed that the robe arrived this way and obviously came from the store and not a warehouse. It just wasn't as nice giving it as a gift. Probably won't buy from Macy's again. The robe is good, but someone probably already wore the one I bought.

Great cotton terrycloth robe: warm, but not heavy.
Just what I needed: a robe in pure cotton terrycloth robe. I had been looking for a long time, and saw this - easy to order and pick up at Macy's. It is warm on my upper body. Although I wish it might be 3 to 4 inches longer, I like the fact that I'll never trip over it, nor that it is not heavy to lift and pull on. I usually wear over pajamas anyway. It is warm when I come out of the shower. I got the S/M size, which has plenty of overlap in the front. The powder blue color is beautiful. Size seems OK, as I normally were medium. I was going to order the L/XL size to have another robe, but it sold out. I could also see this spa robe as a great beach cover-up. The cotton has a nice feel and is a natural fiber. I avoid any polyester (recycled or regular) on my body. Some poly robes I'd looked at previously have a strange chemical plastic smell, which means likely carcinogens next to my body. Go for this true cotton terrycloth robe!. I hope it comes back in stock soon, so we can order more. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
