Beautiful wedding gift

These dinner plates are lovely, simple yet elegant. I bought them for a wedding gift and am pleased to give it. They can be used in a casual setting or dressed up for a formal dinner. Very versatile dinnerware.

Great plates

Got these for daily use, and these plates server their purpose very well. They go well the the bowls, mugs that we bought with it. They were so good that we went back to buy more. We have friends drop in at short notice many times, so use these for casual food - good bye to paper/plastic plates.

Fragile

I bought these dinner plates for every day because I read that they were a sturdy bone china. However, the first time I used them, I was cutting steak and the dish cracked. My guess is that the steak was too hot or the knife pushed down on the curved portion of the plate. I wasn't pushing down that hard when it happened, just normal. They are beautiful but I returned them because they are thin and too delicate for every day. Also, two of the berry bowls cracked in transport from the store, but I'm keeping the rest of them because it's hard to find that size bowls, and they are handy.

So Happy With These

I shopped and shopped. I decided to get the coupe plates as they are slightly smaller in diameter than the regular hotel collection plates. This allows me to fit more people at the table when seating a crowd. Anyway, I couldn't be happier. The are truly casual elegance. They can be used for everyday or special occasion. They wash nicely and are fairly light. I like the glaze which seems even and not bubbly at all. I am so happy I keep adding to the set.

I love it

It is lovely, cream color I believe more than snow white. It is not heavy nor light. It is fine. I love it. one thing though is that I would have liked it more if it were a little smaller. just a little. regardless it is great. my mom did not like it because it is white only!!

Impressive dishware

I know we will be able to mix these white dishes with my other china. Especially, if I have more people than my count for my traditional blue china. Now I have the white I can mix in too.
