Comfortable at First Then It Broke Down

This review is for the discontinued King Koil Natural Orchid PL TL, model 14209-1050, purchased from Macy’s in 2023. I’m posting here because I cannot find my mattress on the website. I researched mattresses for months because I wanted something natural, safe, comfortable, and built to last. It felt wonderful at first, but the area where I sleep has broken down. There is a body impression that collapses further under my weight, leaving me trapped in a depression and struggling to change positions. An inspector confirmed a three-quarter-inch dent, but King Koil denied my claim because it is a quarter-inch short of their warranty requirement. The dent is real and documented, yet I’m expected to keep sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress because it is considered “within specification.” Buyers should know these mattresses may feel great when new but break down within a few years, and King Koil may refuse to help. I’m extremely disappointed. Two out of ten. Would not recommend.
