Somewhat satisfied with numerous small issues

The laptop is indeed powerful and robust when put to work, but several other factors reduce its practically as a general work machine. For example, the pre-installed HP Wolf Security suite absolutely ruins the basic Microsoft Office programs. All downloaded xlsx files are initially blocked and scanned. There’s a lag of about 5-10 seconds when you click on something before you can actually interact with them. Even then basic MS Office programs feel laggy and slow (like working from a wifi monitor). Sometimes the keyboard and mouse is unresponsive when HP Wolf is doing its thing. Otherwise, the laptop is amazing in terms of performance for programming, big data, and graphics. I expect (in time) I will be able to remove most of the bloatware.

It’s always a challenge to change laptops but this one was a joy and so easy with all the latest face recognition features

Not workstation material...

Poor performance indeed! My 8 year old ZBook performs better than this! It is physically much lighter, but with performance like this I don't see how this can make it into the ZBook workstation category.

Good Powerful laptop

Good laptop for professionals .It has ultra 7 processor which is useful for any kind of software development usage

I bought the laptop 2 weeks ago and these are the following issues: It gets very hot, not sure if this is just a HP thing, but I would have thought getting hot is not a good option The fan is going constantly, maybe that’s because of the heat or it could be a HP thing as well. One of the reasons I bought this brand was because of the ‘long battery life’. I get 4-5 hours where as on the specifications it said up to 18 hours of battery life. If I’m only getting 5 hours now, I’m tipping I will never get to 18 (even 7 would be good)
