Nice but came damaged

I got these for my husband and we really liked them, comfortable and nice color, but the first time he wore them we noticed they were ripped. Not sure if they came damaged or if it's a quality/fabric issue, but the seams were pulling right at the crotch and they are totally unwearable as is.
