Should Advertise as Unfinished

The chairs are sturdy and a nice design. We were disappointed in the finish, or rather, lack of finish, however. They appear in the photo to have a soft, whitewashed or blond stain or finish. In fact, they look like unfinished wood furniture that needs a sealer, paint, or a stain. I am concerned about food or crafts ruining the surface of the table and chairs.We will have to do something before it can be functional for use by children.
