Not worth the trouble

The assembly was much more involved and complicated than expected. There were 28 pieces and more than 100 screws, nails, and hardware. To make matters worse, some of the diagrams in the instructions were incorrect, and pilot holes made in the pieces were misaligned. For instance, the magnet that goes on the hatch did not align with the magnet on the frame. We had to drill our own holes to try to get them to line up. I wish we could say it was all worth it, but the final product looks cheap, flimsy, and despite out best effort is still a bit crooked. We would have returned it but figured after all the modifications made we wouldn't be able to.
