Damage zipper puller

When I took the carry on out of the box and was unzipping it . The zipper puller had little holes like someone drilled holes on the puller and the holes have sharp edges that I almost cut my finger while unzipping it . Not sure if this happened while it was shipped but definitely disappointed.
