Awesome

Awesome picture. Went from an 86" LG to this one. Comparison wasn't even close. About two years of ownership with no issues. Great picture.

Would not recommend

I have the 2021 version of this tv and it only lasted 4 years before it won’t turn on anymore. It just clicks on and off. The corners of the screen also started dimming a couple months ago before it died completely.

Picture seems sharper than real life

Already have another Samsung tv so was happy to go with this model to replace a two time loser Hisense tv(never again). New screen has an easy intuitive setup and has loads of entertainment and fine tuning options if that's your thing.. with the boss lady doing bulk bingeing and me sporting it up,it gets the big tick

Just what you want to enjoy an immersive TV.

It is a wonderful television. The picture is awesome, the 75” size creates an immersive experience and add soundbar you get a full dose of entertainment.

QN85C Series - 4K UHD Neo QLED LCD TV

I've had the this TV for a year now, and it has surpassed my expectations. Some of the notable features I've been continually pleased with: fast start up, when the screen image is completely dark it is indistinguishable from the TV being off, TV receiver is actually impressive in pulling in HD digital stations with a cheap antenna, rich rich colors, and the easy-to-navigate interface. It integrates well with my stereo speaker system via the eARC-HDMI for complete surround sound. It allows for you to use your phone via Samsung app to control the TV, but I stick with the remote control, which is intuitive and simple. The remote control works at a very long range (I didn't get this info in any reviews) and has solar cell recharging on the back, but I'm not sure if it even works. I think I've only recharged the remote via cord once in the entire year, and I don't think it even needed it. One of the reasons I selected this display type was for its reputed resistance to burn-in and expected longevity. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase.

What happened to Samsung quality?

Purchased this TV 3 months ago (July 2024-Oct. 2024) after my last samsung tv died after less than 3 years. I had hoped my last tv was an outlier. I was wrong. This new tv already has a burned in image! A tv that isn't supposed to let that happen. A TV program was watched for less than an hour before the afterimage stuck. Not some static picture. Different scenes and Commercials, etc. I drove 6 hours to buy this tv because my local store didn't have one and spent more $$$$ than usual on a tv because I was expecting to own it for 5-10 years. Didn't get 5 months. We even have Samsung phones...Looks like it's time to make a change.

Good tv, experiences glitches

Overall tv is fine, but sometimes when I’m streaming is it stalls out on channel change. Once that happens, it cuts off the stream. I have to unplug the tv, wait a while, then plug back in and works fine. This doesn’t happen on any other device w the same streaming service.
