Great dress, don’t like the sales policy

The dress is perfect but need the hem altered. When I bought the dress I was led to believe that they could alter the dress in the Columbia store but it turns out I have to go to Montgomery County and still pay the full alteration fee. Also, the sales clerk every time I go there is required to strongly encourage getting the store credit card and very motivated to make a sale.
