Free True Wireless In-Ear Headphones
Product details
Web ID: 9975495still great sounding
ive had these for a super long time and the only issue that i have with them is the battery life now. i have defiantly over charged the headphones a multitude of times which is probably why i am experiencing a drop in battery performance. but other than that they still work great. they connect just fine via bluetooth, the sound is as good as the day i bought them, and i love the suction it creates in my ear canceling all the noise around me. ive had so many people sneak up on me because i would have an earbud or two in. never even needed to use the maximum volume on them.

JBL Free X has very poor battery playtime
Received a JBL Free X wireless earbuds as birthday present from my family and realised it's battery couldn't even last for 3 minutes after full charge. When connected it to laptop, the power was reflected as 80% even when it was just removed from the charging case after full charge. The batter level when down to 10% within minutes while watching some youtube clips, and eventually disconnected by itself a few seconds later (Yes you didn't see wrongly, it shut down within seconds after hitting 10% batter level !!!! )

Thank you for your post,
We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing battery life issues with your JBL Live Free X.
When using the the earbuds at high volumes, the battery life can be reduced below the advertised approximate time. If you haven't done so already, we recommend using them at a lower volume to see if there is any improvement.

Would not recommend
I bought these a few years ago. They are decent but hardly any bass. Also the fact that they started SMOKING AND MELTED on my countertop one day. Once I saw the smoke I quickly ran the case outside. It had a small explosion and the battery popped out. I took video of the whole thing and sent it to JBL. No water damage, they were not plugged in. No idea why they were defective. If they were on my couch, bed or in my car it could have caught fire. I did not want the same kind of ear buds but eventually they finally sent me new ones but the same model. They definitely did not want to send me replacements.

Absolutely garbage. Got these as a christmas present and within 2 months one of the earbuds stopped working entirely. Feel bad someone paid this much for them, NEVER BUY JBL!!!

I bought a pair of JBL free NC+ active noise cancelling earbuds last week to listen to Utube videos on my new MacBook Pro. They linked to and work well on Apple iPhone 11 but they would not connect to my Apple MacBook Pro. I took them back to the store on the day after I bought them and the technical people could not get them to come up on my MacBook in the Blutooth menu despite trying for twenty minutes. I bought a pair of Jabra wireless headphones to do the job so I don't disturb people when listening to my Portuguese lesson videos and they connected to both devices immediately. I could not swap them so I will use the Jabra headphones for the Mac and the JBL for the iPhone.

Our JBL Free NC+ should be able to air with your devices. We recommend trying the steps on our support page article about "Bluetooth Pairing and Connecting" to isolate the issue with your products here: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/
Get something with a longer warranty
Received these about a year and a half ago. Definitely still a 4/5 star, easy to set up, easy to charge, decent sound. This was until recently when the left headphone decided to stop working. Contacted customer support, only to be shut down because they only have a 1 year warranty, didn't even want provide helpful advice. Lousy company, if you truly provide quality products, you don't back them with a 1 year warranty.

Had them since release date around 4-5 years and they’ve had a pretty hard life, everyday all day, and there still going today
