Pretty Dress With Lovely Brooch

At 5'2" tall and weighing 96 lbs., it's hard to find petite-size dresses that fit my straight, short-waisted figure, but this dress does, which I bought on sale in a size 4P. There is a lot of stretch to the machine-washable knit fabric, which has silver threads woven into it that give the dress a subtle shimmer. However, the "tweed" thread loops easily get caught in the zipper when pulling it up or down, so it needs to be handled with care. The flower brooch can be detached from the fitted bodice and is a beautiful bonus that can be worn with many other garments, too.

Childish cut

Does not fit a post-menopausal figure. Too tight around midriff. In my opinion , the fullness in the sleeves and below the waist make it look more like a little girl’s dress. Not flattering for a women.
