Noisy zipper pull

I really wanted to love these boots - but I feel like the zipper pull is too large for this zipper. Every time I walked the zipper pull would clang and make noise - I don’t know if other people would hear it while I walked, but I certainly did and it was annoying to me- so unfortunately, I had to return!
