BEAUTIFUL

I purchased two of this "Black and Gold" angel figurine to flank a lovely piece of 12" x 12" artistically painted stone etched with a favorite scripture. You definitely will not be disappointed in the quality and beauty of this piece. I'd like to mention that when Jim Shore talks about his art, he mentions each one is made and hand painted by his artists -- many, not one person. Therefore, this tells me that I should not expect each one to be "exactly" the same. For instance, in comparing my two angels with the Macy's online photo, my two have a slightly darker skin tone with almost navy blue eyes -- not the creamy skin tone with the light blue eyes shown in the Macy's photo. Also, one angel is about 1/8 inch shorter than the other. I immediately noticed it, while my husband could not see the difference. I am pointing out what I discovered for information purposes only -- not to be critical of Jim's work. Now that I have reviewed the angel, let me compliment Macy's for applying a percentage off on the angels and for the speedy/secure delivery of my purchase. I am very pleased and thankful.
