It’s my favorite, I have been looking so long for this set and I am so happy that Macy ‘s has it in stock. The quality are good, look very nice. I was using at Christmas time.The only thing I am not used to ,are the soup bowls they are too small.

Remarkable table setting
I love Johnson brothers for thestyle, design and color. Have pieces from other Christmas collections. Remember what Martha said Mix collections for table setting. I always try to do what Martha recommends

This pattern is proven over time. I inherited a set from my great grandmother (who passed at age 91) and am thrilled to learn that it is carried by Macy's. You won't be sorry for acquiring your own set and, unlike mine, they are dishwasher safe. LOL

I ordered 6 sets of the Friendly Village 5 piece place setting and this Thanksgiving will be the first time they will be used. I wanted my family to have memories of home and happiness at holiday time. My daughter and son in law were both in the military and spent time in Iraq. They are both back safe at home now and out of the military. They have a new baby and this will be his first thanksgiving at grandma and grandpas house. I feel so blessed to have everyone here that I wanted to make sure everything was going to be perfect. These dishes will help my table have that old fashioned elegant ambiance and will be passed on to my daughter at some point so she will be able to carry on the tradition.
This dinnerware takes you back to a simpler time
I bought this set, last year, on sale. It's one of those things that is better than you imagine. The images are lovely, the quality is wonderfully sturdy yet looks delicate. You won't be sorry if you purchase this set. One great thing is they are microwave and dishwasher safe. The sizes are nice, not to large or small. I am going to buy completer pieces, as well.
Friendly Village
I have been searching for fall/christmas dinnerware for quite sometime and when I saw this set, I knew I had to have it. Not only is the pattern beautiful, but the shape of the plates add to its charm as well. This set is extremely durable and beautiful. With this set, you have the look of great china along with durability and best of all, it's dishwasher safe. The pictures on the web site do not do it justice. The colors are subtle and will compliment any table setting.
