Nice Looking, Cheaply Made, Will Not Last

I bought this belt for work and wore it for about a year before it started to fail. The first indication was cracking around the hole used on the back of the belt, as many others have mentioned. The only part of this belt that is leather is an extremely thin covering on the outside. As the cracking continued, the back began to fall off shockingly exposing that the belt is made of fiberboard or cardboard glued between a thin layer of leather and a layer of fake leather. Overall this belt looked nice, but the construction is lacking. I will either go with a Hank's dress belt with a lifetime warranty or a cheaper belt that will also probably fail but is not overpriced like this one.

Perfect!

This belt is an excellent choice for wearing for pleasure, work or as an every day belt. This is the second one I have purchased, and that is just because the pattern and buckle are a little different They are Perfect for any occasion.

Horrible Belt

Several family members bought these for a wedding in various sizes. All ended up having the exact same issues: 1) The leather feels extremely cheap since within a few months it started to tear 2) The leather is actually black on the brown belt but they put a cheap brown "lining" and glued it to the black leather. This cheap process resulted in all of our "lining" to start disconnecting and dangling from the belt. The sad part is that its hard to find another matching belt from another company since this one matches all of our shoes.

Not quite up to J&M standards

The belt was stiff and cheap feeling. But aside from this one order, I find J&M to be a good source of quality, reasonably priced shoes and clothes. One area they could improve on would to keep better stock of popular sizes (medium in my case).
