Comfort and Quality

I'm very pleased with the shoes I purchased. Johnston & Murphy has always been my shoe of choice since I was a young man and I'm now 74 years old. J&M is probably one of the few companies that has not compromised their quality over the years. Keep up the great work!

Excellent fit, weight, and flexibility.

Excellent fit, weight, and flexibility. These blue shoes with the brown soles (also have the khaki version) are very attractive - have received compliments from women on the four times that I have worn these! The heel rim gave terrible blisters

The backs of the heels curve tightly inward, rubbing the skin right off the backs of both Achilles tendons, despite good socks. This was a painful debilitation that not even bandages could remedy. Shoes also run short and narrow, and tight in the rather substantial toe cap. These shoes made a walking trip through NYC a huge, literal pain. You guys need to recess the heel rim outward.

Fabulous Shoe

I bought these before my trip to London to have them for dinners and night events. My other shoes failed in one day and caused so much pain, that I put these on and never took them off. The best shoe I've bought that's comfortable, fashionable, casual, and worth it!

Light weight, all-day comfort

The Amherst Knit U-Throat is extremely comfortable and true to size. I don't wear socks anymore and these knits provide plenty of air during a hot day. Just purchased these in black, already had blue and beige pairs.
