Buyer Beware

First let me say I am a long time customer of J&M and continue to be. This time they failed me. The construction as always is good but the dye on leather they use for the buckles stained three pairs of khaki shorts and slacks and it does not come out after several washings. I am afraid I cannot recommend this item.

I bought the same belt

I bought the same belt in white two years ago and love it, so I just bought the SAME SIZE in gray and blue. However, the new belts are two inches longer.

Nice but too long for reported size

The belt was much too long for the reported size. I returned a longer one already and this one is still too long by 2-3 inches. I compares it to another brand of the same size marking and confirmed it’s much longer (2-3 in). OTW it’s fine.

Runs Long

All my belts are 32 so I figured a 32 would work here as well. Not the case. Since these belts stretch unlike a typical leather belt, you should consider a size smaller. Unfortunately for me, J&M doesn't make a size 30 (it's always grayed out). I love their shoes and I want to love their clothing line, but they aren't catering to my slimmer size demographic.
