Love this jacket!!
Love this jacket!! I ordered the XL in black with red puffy inner liner. The inner jacket is very lightweight and so far haven't had any feathers coming out as in other brands that I have bought and returned. Not sure how this 3 in 1 combo works in really cold weather as I live in a warmer climate but the look is amazing and it feels warm. Pockets: Outer jacket in front-1 zipper on left side (7"X 6"), 2 flap pockets snap closure big enough for gloves. small inside flap pocket on right-no closure Inner jacket - 2 slant pockets with no closures. Hood in its own zipper around the neck. Hood is the right size for me, fits my head with room for a knitted hat. Even though this size fits (XL), I am returning for an XXL when they come back in stock. I need to have extra room for layering. There is a adjustable drawstring along the back that will help make waist smaller so extra size should be ok. I am 5'6'" 175 lbs.
Love it!
Stylish and functional. I love the warm lining for colder weather that can unzipped and removed for warmer weather. I don't consider it a winter coat for Boston snow/sleet/freezing temps. It wouldn't be warm enough for me, but it's great for spring/fall (which has been in the 30's - 40's). I disagree with those saying it runs small. Unfortunately, I went by the reviews posted and ordered an XL and it was too big. Returned for my usual L. Fits perfectly. I'm a size 10 (38B) and usually buy a large in coats or sweaters. The large even allows for under layers. I have worn sweaters and fleece under it too as the style is not too fitted. Initially bought the Black/taupe but I have so many coats in black, so I went with the dark olive/citron. I like it better, more stylish - just wish the citron (a mustard yellow) was a more subdued color. But all in all I really love it. It's water resistant (not waterproof) and worked fine in the rain with an umbrella (I didn't try drenching it). I like that it's a bit longer length past the hips. Keeps your back side warmer and dryer. I wish my waterproof Columbia jacket for my Alaska cruise was as long. Great coat. You can't go wrong!
Great jacket
Runs true to size and lightweight but warm. Inner lining can be detached and worn separately. Hood can be hidden with zipper compartment and lots of pockets. Highly recommend if your looking for a fall or spring jacket.
Great for sudden snow
Wore it to Boston, sudden April snow storm. I was nice & warm.
Runs small
I normally wear a small or medium. I ordered the medium and it was way to small. I returned it. The return was received by Macy's 21 days ago and I still haven't received my credit.
Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for a waterproof jacket that was more appropriate for winter rather than the spring. I was shoveling during a “wet” snow storm the other day and my down jacket for soaked, which inspired my desire for a coat like this. Seems to do the trick! My only problem is that I am clearly in between sizes. I am 5’1”, 112 pounds and the extra small was just a little snug in the shoulders and the sleeves were a bit short on me, and the small is a bit too roomy for me. I ended up keeping the small for comfort. Overall a nice looking and functional jacket.
More than expected!
I was impressed with this jacket when I got it! I ordered XS in black/coral, and I have to say that contrast of colors makes this jacket quite unique. I am 5' 6'' and about 120, and it runs slightly big for me. However, I decided to keep it because it is exactly what I was looking for. It is perfect to be worn in between seasons, or even a bit colder weather, because you can attach/detach the inner jacket, and it seems that it can withstand wind and light rain. The length is great (mid thighs in my case) and the cut makes me look slightly taller. The outer jacket feels and looks elegant, so you can wear it with nicer outfit as well. The belt on the back does not really do much to make the fit tighter. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it tightens waistline for an inch, maybe. Inner jacket has great length - it runs quite a few inches below my hips. If I wear it alone, it is tight in the hips but not too tight to feel uncomfortable. Downside: pockets. The outer jacket has only three pockets and only one of them has a zipper but they are all decently deep (i.e. larger smartphone fits fully inside all three pockets). Inner jacket has, what appears at first glance, four pockets (2 inside, 2 out). But, be careful, inner pockets are actually not pockets. Whatever you put inside them, it will just slide through. Two pockets on the outside cannot close - there is no zipper or snap. Overall, I think that the quality, style, and purpose of this jacket are well worth the money.
Great Coat
I love this coat! The liner is warm, but very lightweight. I do agree with other reviews that it runs a bit small, so I ordered a size up. I am a bit disappointed because I expected the snaps and zippers to be gold as in the picture (black/black), but they are silver.
