The perfect summer quilt
Design is really beautiful. It’s a very basic color background for the room but with a beautiful quilt pattern. The quality isn’t real high and it is thin, and it could use a little extra size on sides.
I'm not sure of the negative reviews here... I purchased this quilt on sale and couldn't be happier! The quilt is labeled as a natural color (somewhere between cream/off-white and taupe/khaki) and would blend very well with jute/sisal/rattan elements. The material is 100% cotton, incredibly soft, thin and lightweight (perfect for hot Texas summers) but it is filled with a thin layer of polyester in the middle - this is what makes the quilt lightweight and airy. The stitching is amazing, cool-toned taupe colored thread, that is actually stitched on both sides (not that invisible iron on faux stitching). It has held up well when laundered by following the instructions on the tag. No piling! I paired my quilt with natural linen sheets for cooling (those Target Casa Luna hemp sheets also had my eye) and some cute boho tassel pillows.
Quality of the material could have been better and it was not all cotton but I really did love the design.
The bedspread could have fit the bed,it does not. The fabric is flimsy and the color is dull.
Very soft and comfortable, loved the detail on the quilted parts.
I love the look of this light weight comforter so I'm keeping it. In the description, I thought they said it was cotton which I interpreted as all cotton. But the outer layer is cotton and the fill is polyester which makes it a little warmer than I had hoped for. But I do like the design and the fact that it is a thin comforter rather than a very thick one.
