BUYER BEWARE
I was so excited when I received the Kolorik 4.0-L XL Deep Fryer with Oil filtration system. But the excitement soon turned to disappointment when we had difficulty getting the filtration to work, so we decided to just leave the oil in the fryer. I used it a couple of other times and it was great at frying but I purchased it to be able to keep the oil clean and then store it until the next time of use. My son used it and the oil began to come out of the frier - burning him. He turned it off and told everyone not to use it. I read reviews before ordering where others had similar experiences. I disregarded them because I was an avid Macy's customer and couldn't believe they would carry an item that had the potential to be harmful to the user. It didn't help to learn it was too late to be returned.

Love the sleekness of the pot perfect size, cooking i in is a breeze after for washing everything slides out not sticking at all
Don’t buy! It’s very cheap and won’t work!
When I went to go use the deep fryer for the first time it wouldn’t turn on. I was very frustrated because I prepared the machine with the oil, breaded my chicken and cut the potatoes only to find out I was sent a defected unit from macys. I called the company but was only able to leave a message as there was no live person to answer. I went on the website and was asked to chat with a technician I’d have to pay $5 for today but they’d charge me $30 per month for unlimited service! I couldn’t believe this is what was happening!
Deep Fryer with Filtration System
The XL 4.0 Deep Fryer is an outstanding unit. I have not had a problem with the one I have. I love it and my family member love it also. At the family functions the fryer stands out doing what it was made to do. The filtration system is always a conversation piece. Most of my family members have a deep fryer at home but they were very impressed with this one. I told my sister I'll send her one out for her birthday soon.

Love my deep fryer. I am able to fry large batches. The added feature to reuse oil is great. The item overall work well and the quality is perfect.
Don't strain
This item cooks very well, but when you train it, it plugs . Still have to empty it by hand. 3 stars for the cooking.
