Then I was surprised that it wasn’t even close to the color in the picture on your website. It was a pukey brown color. Who’s taking the pictures of the rugs? Disappointed but, hey, it’s the pandemic, not the end of the world. Perspective, people! I still love Bloomingdales!

I purchased this rug online in the color Grey/Mocha. I reviewed multiple online rug vendors, both for price and color rendition. Buying rugs online can be challenging, because while the rug pattern is usually accurate, the colors can be way off in real life. Such is the case with this rug on the Macy’s website. It is much darker. The center grey is charcoal, not a dark griege. The outer square of brown is not mocha but a dark chocolate. Disappointing but caveat emptor. Otherwise, the Macy’s closeout price was great, and the quality of the rug is outstanding. The wool pile is dense but soft. The other problem is that the rug is 0.75” high – not 0.5”—so opening an adjacent closet door is not possible.
