Red Slicker Move Over

I love my new purchase because it's beautiful design will keep me warm during the winter months, the A-Line shape on my 5'1" height is perfect, and the color is marvelous. The raincoat reminds me of the old red slicker style coat which was typically made from rubberized materials to allow rain to glide off it. The Kate Spade version has a polyurethane coating for water resistance with a shell & lining made of polyester. According to AI "The iconic red color comes from the early use of bright pigments in manufacturing, designed to increase visibility in stormy or foggy weather. Red is not only practical for safety but also carries a certain nostalgic, vintage charm."
