Poor design

Poor design. If not filled with water very carefully it leaks all over the place. Lid to coffee compartment does not stay open on its own so you have to hold it open with one hand while putting in coffee with the other. I had another Kenmore and loved it so bought this. Wish I had not wasted my money.

The loudest, most annoying way to make coffee

This is the noisiest coffee maker I have ever owned! It has a loud "beep" that comes from it every time you either: plug it, turn it on, finishes brewing coffee, auto-on turns off. It is super loud and very annoying, and there is no way to deactivate it. I don't know who thought this was a good idea.
