Stylish and Comfortable!

This was the first time I have ever purchased shoes online. I always believed you needed to physically try on shoes in order to make a good purchase. I have never purchase a pair on dress shoes that were instantly comfortable. These shoes have a firm fitting and are very stylish with slacks or jeans.

Rich color

Color is very rich and accents all colored pants nicely. My boyfriend loves them. He thought they would take long to break it in, but wore them for a 10 hour work day and they were still comfortable!

Ouch! But I Look Good!

The positive: These shoes look great. They have the timeless appeal of a classic cap toe - subtle and elegant. I bought the brown version and it is a deep, rich brown that goes nicely with my navy and grey suits. The stitching is clean and the laces are the nice dress laces that aren't heavily waxed. The negative: OUCH! I try to follow the maxim that all shoes should be comfortable right out of the box. I'm a firm believer in not having to break in shoes. It's just so hard, in my experience, to find dress shoes that accomplish this at this price point. For me, it was the pinching and rubbing at the knuckle above my big toe. I normally wear a 10.5 in dress shoes and that's what I chose with these. An 11 would have been too big so I did the ole' ziplock bag of water in the shoes in the freezer trick. I'm hoping that stretched them out a bit. I haven't worn them since but they're up in the rotation for tomorrow. Wish me luck!
